whitereflectionThree things I could really use tonight: being alone, playing music teeth-rattlingly loud, and alcohol. Not going to get any of those three. Ha ha.
And I note that the usual morality-police-types are having a fit about GTA: San Andreas because in it one pretends to steal, injure, kill, and be violent. Unlike where it's okay (no, not just okay, it's *patriotic*), I guess, to do this all for real when we go to war? Don't worry, Mr. and Mrs. John Q. SavetheChildren!Public, we're just grooming your little tykes for a glorious career in the military. Think of it as Grand Theft Auto: Iraq. There, that make it any better?

Or the Chinese troops who yell, "I cally da beeg gun."
I wish I were joking about that.
San Andreas is pretty fun from what I've seen so far, just as playable as Vice City (only now you can swim in certain areas). It's just got this stereotype of all blacks in L.A. must be gangstas. But at least it's consistent from game to game: see little Havana & little Haiti in V.C...
