whitereflectionUm. So my dr. finally returned my call from yesterday, and had me in this afternoon for re-exam and chest x-rays. Seems I've gone from bronchitis into the early stages of developing pneumonia. So...yeah. As much as the whiny child in me is having a tantrum over it, I'm not going to that concert tonight. I mean, I have to be real. And I don't think I'll go to Take-sensei's tomorrow, either. I have new antibiotic, a better expectorant pill, and instructions to keep with the inhalers, get extra water, and to take it easy. So I think I'll do all that.
Will see how I feel Monday, but I might just do half-days at work Monday and Tuesday before I go back to my dr. Tuesday afternoon. But for now I'm going to go stare at the TV and feel kind of freaked out.
One odd note is having an old 'clean' chest x-ray of yours and your current 'ick' one used to show nurse tech types in the office what early pneumonia looks like. Glad I could be an example. Or something. (Quote from one of the younger tech-receptionists walking back from seeing the x-rays: "Cooool!" *sees me standing there* "Um...not for you." >_> )
