I like how they take things that are social commentary, and still give them humor, even if it's sometimes sarcastic or dark humor. ^^; I need to be able to laugh at this stuff, or my head explodes before I can really think about it.

Yes, it has been! *heh* Is ok, I really don't post that much that's interesting--and I don't tend to often find links you haven't already encountered yourself. You are the king of current events, I swear :) Makes me curious though--are you a poli-sci major? Because egads, do we need people in that sort of field that go to the effort to research and educate themselves like you do.

But hi! ^^

"...are you a poli-sci major?"

No, in fact: i can't pass a political science class to save my life @.@

I'm Computer Science, actually.

I know the need very well, but i can't stand politics actually XP

So i complain about it, but i don't do much- at least, not as much as i probably ought to. I wanted to get involved with the Dean campaign, but by the time i had the opportunity Dean was basically dead in the water...

Who knows, maybe i'll be the first computer programmer President! (Not to mention the first boygirl (http://tinypic.com/54tjk) President XD)

Actually, you do a hell of a lot--not only by educating yourself (which this country direly needs), but you go to the effort of educating others. That is probably one of the most important things that can be done at any point in time, but especially now in the watch-Fox-news-and-parrot-it era. Not to mention how often you present links and discussion that present both sides or criticize both parties--we need a blasted *news* program or newspaper that'd be willing to do that. :x

Interesting though, that you hate it and still do all this--while I hate it, and I avoid discussing it almost entirely. I could learn something from you like that, really.

Man, you'd be one of the few Presidents in a long time to be educated on the issues. I'd vote for you just from what I see you believe in so far. (Btw, love the pictures--that one icon was perfected by the caption change. Short and succinct >D Needs to be added to MixMastahTiki's Gaara--Boobies animated icon.)

*Giggles* I'm blushing, stop it! :P

Hmm, careful though: i do have my own biases. I happen to think i'm right most of the time, but it's not a perfect track record. Of course, i also try to admit when i'm wrong ^.^;

And yeah, it isn't really that i'm making some sort of noble sacrifice though with the hate and all. Even though i hate doing it i still feel semi-obligated to do it. If i don't then who will? I wish, for instance, that the press would start actually doing their job so i don't have to do it for them. Either that or i wish they'd start paying me! But sadly no.

I did actually think about joining the Howard Dean campaign, but by the time i had the spare time to do it he was already essentially dead in the water. I think it's a black mark on our electoral system that Dean couldn't even carry more than his home state...

Not only would i be educated, well: somewhat, but one of the first things i would do in office would be to run around the whole government and get more education. I don't know if most Presidents do that or not, but it seem only reasonable. I'd actually listen to the researchers, etc, unlike Bush who puts his politics in front of reality more or less every time...

Thanks for the icon compliments :3

As one of my other friends said "It was perfect before, but now it's MORE perfect!"

Perhaps i ought to go give Tiki a poke. I lost track of em after eir old journal was deleted... And: yay for boygirl boobies!
