...stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid... >< Couldn't make myself go to bed last night. Was tired, knew I would crash the minute I lay down. But I didn't *want* to sleep. So I stayed up reading bad fanfic (from this Kyouke site, where all but a little bit was crap--damn me for craving HaruKyou and it leading to other reading). And thus I think I got about 2.5 hours of sleep. I might as well have just stayed up all night for the good that'll do me. And all my own fault, because I was feeling rife with stubborn dorkness.

Actually, would only have been 2 hours sleep, but spent about 20 minutes simply convincing myself to get out of bed. Kinda wish I coulda called in sick--probably would have if my supervisor weren't about to be gone for her other surgery soon. Just feels like it'd be bad form to do so now.

Saw HP:PoA last night, and am in love. Very fun movie, and though yeah, I do have pickiness with certain ways they handled things and certain bits they left out, it was really awesome. Lovely effects and CGI, and I'm in love with all the actors/actresses again, younger and older. No fair for all the kids to be becoming so cute. ._. And I could see all sorts of pairings everywhere, het/ghei/what-have-you. Was lovely that way <3 (However, I now truly do not understand the Draco worship. He's a blubbering little twit who snivels more than *me*.)

Dad's had a reoccurrence of an old problem that's landed him in the hospital. I guess I wouldn't call it minor, but it happens so frequently (once every other year or so) that it feels...not unusual? I guess I mean like I'm concerned, but not worried. A few days and he should be out and recovering--though I need to find out if he wants visitors/calls/cards in the meantime. It kinda differs each time, depending on how the procedures and pain meds affect him. Yay for old war injuries and scarring, tho, ne.

Downloadburndownloadburn...still going. Need another spindle of CDs. Don't know why I bought the 50 back then when I should have known to get the 100. And I should have bought a bigger case than 208, if I'm going to try and centralize my stuff instead of having it in multiple cases and piles and such on my desk. Too many CDs D:

Stupid thought of the past couple weeks--'how can I somehow work at DisneyWorld without having to move to/live in Florida?' >_o (Nothing against you Andrew, and would love the natureness. Just not the weather/climate. Or the bugs. D: )

Heat/humidity *dis-gus-ting* here. Worst it's been all year. Horrid godawful. We're actually above rainfall, keep having storms almost every night. And with our usual summer temps/humidity, it's just gone beyond hell out. I hope we dry out some before having any 100+ days. And the whole city smells strange out--like something wood-ish is burning everywhere--not like a fireplace fire, but a building fire. Strange that it's like that everywhere, though. Maybe it's because of the weather conditions or something. Or maybe it's armageddonish or something. *babbles like a freakazoid*

Yeah. Am weird, and not in a funnyhaha way.

I don't fully understand it either, other than the love for slytherin translating into him being the poster boy.

In the character's defense. The movie... made him even more sniveling and cliche than he is in the book. And that's really saying something. He's sort of entertaining in the book. The way they portrayed him in the movie made me want to jab a steak knife in my ear everytime they 'girl powered' one of the scenes with him in it.

UGH. Pop culture.

Ahhh, you know, it didn't hit me until you mentioned it, that he'd been changed from the book. It's been so long since I've read the third one. Just kind of makes me go >_o...why they felt the need for pushing him from stereotype to full-blown kiddified cliche, I don't know. Typical Hollywood.
