*does so again* ^^ Oi, a midnight movie so rocks, but man I need decent sleep soon. What with HG starting like twenty minutes late last night, and with it taking forever to wind down from the major high-energy buzz I got from the whole thing, I didn't get to bed until 3 (and had to get up at 8...and that was after getting up at 9 after a late night yesterday ^^)
Man, was it fun, though. :D I have *never* seen that theater so packed--it had to have been close to full capacity. And this for a movie mo st everyone's seen a dozen times! *grins* You don't see it, or any theater, so full for most *new* stuff even. And the crowd was great--you know the sorta people that'll go to midnight shows. Heh--and folks were *rambunctious*, too! People were so hy ped by the time it started, we were applauding and hooting at everything, even previews--and were doing so even more when it actually started. I'd forgotten how it would be one favorite scene after another--so many jokes that I'd forgotten about! Ah, i t was rich, thick and chocolatey. ^^ *insert random moose/llama reference here* *heehee*
It was definitely cool to see it so large and clear compared to how it tends to show up on my TV, too--there were tons of background details and facial expressio n s that I really just noticed for the first time. That just added to the fun. :)
Tonight is another sort of movie night--we go over to our buddy Don's (not the Don who runs one of our DnD games). He should be showing either Buckaroo Banzai or Tron...I'm kinda in a Banzai mood, myself. ^^ I have a weakness for rocket scientist/neurosurgeon/rock stars. *hee* Random Quote Attack!: "No matter where you go, there you are." :D a
