I <3 the waterfront. Because I get to be right along the sound. Kinda wish we could do stuff like that every day. But the aquarium was *awesome*. Is smaller than Omaha's, but with much cooler stuff, like harbor seals and river/sea otters. And they've redone a bunch of early exhibits, with gorgeous huge plexiglass displays, like jellyfish tank in the shape of a ring you could walk through, an octopus tank in the shape of an H so to see them crawling around (so awesome cool, and one is *immense*), and two tidal pool set-ups where you could touch things...so keen.
Also hit shops, bought Seattle-things, ate fancy seafood (omg<3) and cheap seafood, and threw our french fries to the gulls (that's just what you're supposed to do with Ivar's fries, they even have signs up ^^ ). Ran into a lot of...'local color' on the buses and trolleys. Then Mom showed us bunches of South Park until I fell asleep (she kept poking me, 'Di, are you watching this bit? Di? *poke*' me='Hngah?'). Was up a bit later, but still only slept in today fifteen minutes later than yesterday, up to a grand total of 5:45. Time zones and the way I get up the same freaking time almost every day ever are my d00m. Now I am zombie-exhausted. -_- And feeling Seattle-allergic (and omg, someone fly out to attack that muscle knot in my back, please? I'll be your slave forever. ._. ).
Pike Place Market today <3 Though how can I work in sleeping some more...? (Also must fight off strange fits of melancholy and missing people... >_> )
