whitereflectionActually got to work on time again. (yay) But have gotten very little done, and in fact between talking to folks and doing web things I ended up not really getting going on anything for forty-five minutes. ( -_-;; ) And now this... ._.
Gads, so scattered, though. Am very distracted by hearing from my brother that Lewis Black is coming to Lincoln's Rococo Theater April 30. Yes, that's right before finals (and right during Dave's two-week law finals), but dammit We Are Going. !!! !!!!!!!! Omgwtfliekwoahbbq!!!11!1one!!!!1 So far it should be Dave, me, James, and Anj...am emailing out other folks to see who all wants to go with. Hopefully will have final headcount and can buy tickets tomorrow. Yay for bitter, jaded, angry, ranty comedians. <3
But the time I spent looking at theater/ticket info and Black's website... ._. Bad. Bad me.
And lj and email didn't help either. ._.
I suck. ._.
...okay, stopping that.
Dave wanted to try that new(ish) Thai place by our house, so went there with he and Dad last night. Consequently, actually ate, and ate way more than I should have. But I love their stuff so much--I mean, it truly kicks ass. <3 So now I'm feeling blargh, but I can handle that, truly. ^^; And man, if someone asked to go there again tonight, I'd say sure. <3 Awesome stuff.
I must admit...even though it's Wednesday, it's exactly a month before my final *cries* (and more like three weeks before the oral exam *cries more*), and I'm tired, allergic, and facing a day of work followed by an evening of a lot of homework...I feel decent. It is incredibly awesome to be reminded by people how much you are loved and cared for. *hugs that feeling tight and close* And I'm still getting that feeling of...'wow', a sort of awe that leaves one kind of floored, to have someone offer you a gift that you would have never expected or asked of them. Yeah, I know it's just a little thing, something they might not even call a 'gift', but to me it's a big deal and incredibly meaningful. I only hope that I can someday that I can somehow give them something that impacting, offer them that much of myself. (You know, it's silly-stupid, but I damn near get emotional just thinking about it... *flails a bit at herself* )
...someone give me money so I can visit Britain, ne? Ne? ...dang.

Warm weight settling unexpectedly on his shoulder pulled Inui's concentration away from his note taking. He smiled softly, feeling just that bit guilty for ignoring his guest. Removing the already loosened bandana he ran taming fingers through mussed black hair, smoothing strands away from sleep closed eyes. The notebook lay forgotten in his lap. Some things were worth observing without distractions.
