whitereflectionMmmph...Saturday, Saturday...have a three-day weekend because of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, but need to get on Japanese homework rather badly. Take-sensei is zipping through ch.7 v. fast, and I've been doing just the grammar wksheets, leaving the wkbook and language lab stuff. Whups. -__- So today, homework. And bills. And maybe dishes (really should leave those for Sunday). Hopefully going to be getting Gina and Kelly to go see RoTK, but will have to call since G-na seems to be not answering emails. Meh. Will grab Anj as well for dinner, and am wondering if I can convince her we need a trip to The Joy for dancing.
James just headed out of town for an Amptguard thing, so just me at home--without car. Makes me v.edgy, actually, to be without a vehicle. I know he'll be gone just about 24hrs, coming back Sunday aft., but still. And if I neededneeded, I could call someone for a ride, Anj/Kelly/Gina/Dad/etc., but again...still. This is the downside of having one vehicle. (The upside being of course muchmuch savings on gas, insurance, car payments, etc.)
But got up early to do cat injection stuff before he left. Normal time for weekday, but ungodly early for Sat. -__-;; So am zombifiedgrumplicious right now. Need to go shower and wake up. ...why is it my stomach always wakes up faster than my brain? Eh.
I need...a screencap of Atobe that is less than complimentary. You know, something where he looks like a git. Normal size or chibi, doesn't matter. Just need something I can use to make a stupid little icon with. Can't find any sort of images like that on the web. Most people don't keep their screencaps long, and those that do ones of Atobe tend to be his gushingadoringfanworshippers, and so aren't doing the sort I'd like to find. Hm. Maybe will have to rewatch the end of the Tezuka-Atobe match some time.
In the mood to be fed something Kaidoh-ish. Alone, or as the MomoKai, InuKai, or InuMomoKai, don't care. Just want teh Kaidoh. Need to make much money so I can pay people to write and draw for me. (*mutters* crud, even ZukaKai because it's been in my head since someone was evil ><;;; . KaiRyo, wouldn't even mind that, or god, why did people have to infect my brain with KaiEiji? Can't imagine that yaoi, but shounen ai would be intriguing... Hmmm...MomoKaiRyo...KaiKam or would it be KamKai? Darn Katkat to heck for making me think SenKai...waaaaaaaaaaaaah, going to miss Katkat... T__T )

Date: 2004-01-18 06:48 am (UTC)Just 'ga' is the particle, the 'no' is what turns the verb okiru into a noun phrase--what we just learned in ch.7. Basically makes it so you can say something like "I don't like to wake up", as I did there, heh. Since the 'tsuki desu', 'tsuki jya arimasen', or 'kirai desu' is the verb part of the sentence, the 'to wake up' part has to be converted to a noun, to be what the like/dislike refers to. I should mutter more stuff to keep you refreshed on first year things. ^^
