Mmmm, Cheezit-y goodness. All is well with the world, again. ^^

Actually, all's not *exactly* well--I mean, egads it's fricking insane-windy out there! I love the whole dark-looming clouds thing, but still! *flails* Auntie Em! Auntie Em! >_< Jeeeeeeez... Where the wind comes sweeping down the plains, indeed--what, is it Oooooklahoma here?

In manga news, I've gotten up to volume 6 of One Piece at mangascreener.com. God I love that stuff--Rufi is too damned cute for his own good. *does her Rufi-style insane maniacal grin* Yeah, there's a lot of extreme-fighty stuff, but it just cracks me up. And I think whats-his-name the blond chef is gonna be a favorite of mine if he sticks around. He's so smirky. ^^ *hee*

Oh, but another manga I discovered at that site, and devoured instantaneously: I'll (Basket Generation). Egads, it's a *basketball* manga! But still, I just can't resist it! *flails* Now, I know a lotta folks are into Slam Dunk, but that just didn't trip my trigger. This tho...*drools* Just the icon pic they used for the manga on their projects page fascinated me--it's really pretty artwork, actually. Inside art's not bad, too--and some of the character designs are *loooooooooooovely*. The two main character-bishounen are absolutely fascinating to watch--they have a drooliciously adversarial relationship/rivalry. And the manga is really very much not shounen ai, but those two...I swear I was kicked in the teeth by shounen ai implications in a big way. I mean...one dark-tousled haired bishounen (with a tendency to occasionally get a mischievous cat face) and one white-tousled haired bishounen (okay, on the cover it's brown, but inside is white...and he's *delightfully* disgruntled) interacting with each other in this absolutely intense way, with all these meaningful looks/glares. Ooohyeah. *drools again* Man, I think I'm gonna be buying this manga if I can find it. Eee, it's got some *nice* character art of the two main guys. *purr*

Today is gonna be pathetically boring, I'm afraid--work is still so damn slow, and that means more busy work usually intended for our student assistants. ><

Oh, and today's person to be darned all to heck is Kea, for introducing me to the wonders of YahooJapan auctions combined with a company who'll handle the auction and deal with international shipping to here. Oh, this could be a dangerous thing... *flails* And all it took was seeing an auction for one *gorgeous* looking RanKen doujinshi. *flails again* Waugh!!

One and one makes two, two and one makes three
It was destiny..."

Did you have to send your wind over here, Di? I mean, I love wind, I really do, but it's COLD wind! ;_; This little neurotic demonic bear does not LIKE cold!

...I got my window open anyway, though. ^^;;

^______^ Sorry, couldn't be helped. You're right about the cold tho--we went from 70ish on Monday to freezing yesterday. *flails* Though it seems to be a bit warmer today, so maybe it'll be nicer for ya tomorrow. :)

Hmmm, I could stand it being like 75 all year round. ^^
