Nov. 13th, 2008 08:16 amWas one of the crazy people last night, and did the midnight release of WotLK. Can't help it, I always wanted to do the 12:01 thing with my fellow geeks at least once. Too bad mall management sucks ass, and put a stop to after hours events recently, so instead of being cozy in Oakview, I stood outside of a strip mall halfway across town for a couple hours. Wasn't too bad at least--I dressed really warmly. But the last 15minutes, *damn*...suddenly I realized I was Very Cold. Odd, that 1.75 hours I was fine :p We won't talk about the 'warning' I got when I drove home, eff you LaVista police DX SO not mentioning it to the usual him.
Today shall be a long, long day :D Will be so impatient to get home, yet I've got at least a Walgreens stop to make plus laundry to do before I can slack. The usual him lucked out and got a couple days off, which is cool because allegedly with the busy season he wasn't to be able to work on that use or lose time he's got until late Dec.
There will be coffee as I head into work, though. There will SO be coffee. I don't function well on 4hrs sleep, even though early this year that was my norm. :| (But I couldn't just *buy* the game...had to install when I got home, and rip the music CD so I could listen to it on repeat all day, and had to peek in the game to create my Death Knight Alt--Selhani, Czech word meaning failure d^_^b--and to get my little frostwyrm pet and and.../fanglee
In other news, been much upheaval on my Dad's side of the family, which is understandable. Sent a check to my cousin to help out, since my aunt that died had let her life insurance lapse, so my cousins are having to pay for it all out of pocket. Just feels very odd and off to not be able to go to the funeral. I've not had to miss one. The lack of benefits with this job does make itself known at times.
