Got the shelf ready shipment from a couple days ago brought in and paid for, but still can't do the orders I have waiting, as the software's being weird in a differentish way.
Grandmother's being moved to a home/rehabilitation center about a mile away. Will be good, in that Mom can just walk to it.
Back when Mom moved into her apt., she outright asked them if there were any mold issues in the building. They looked at her, with her tracheostomy, with her telling them of her chronic and severe asthma and allergy issues, and they lied. There's been a horrid and increasing mold smell in her building, because of something in the apt below hers. They finally revealed there's been a long-term water leak problem--long term water leaks bring mold. They've removed the carpet down there, but I know for a fact that means its in the walls. As it stands, Mom is paying a *lot* to have mold tests run in her apt, but the apt management has told her she's not allowed to test in the apt below hers where the problem is (at least she has pictures, which she took one day when they left the door open, and which she gave to the mold testing group). Thing is, is she may be able to take them to small claims court for paying the mold testing costs, and for getting her damage deposit back if she has to break lease--but if she breaks lease, *where* is she going to go? The only other place nearby is a sort of special run place for elderly and disabled, and says her income's not enough. Not sure what to make of it all--except the group running her current place are vile scum, and horrid people.
Weaseled out of going to my cousin's wedding reception Sat evening with Mom :/ But still doing something--rare chance to get together with the usual people here. Been ages. Also have to go out Sun night for Don's (rescheduled from when Anj was out of town and I was sick). Busy, blargh.
Looking at the beta information coming out for the Wrath of the Lich King expansion--looks like they are totally reworking how my class's mechanics function. And the talents are being changed a bunch. So looks like I get to relearn my class when it hits. :/ So, I guess it's going to be level to 80, then suck for a year until I finally figure it out and get the hang of it, like when I got to 70 and had to learn? Frustrated, because Burning Crusade was a starting over, and now this feels like a sort of starting over again. I really envy the other classes that just expand/develop on what they already have, especially those players that have been around on one toon since the beginning of WoW. There's a reason these people are really good at playing--when you're doing something for what, 5 years, and you're not having to scrap it and relearn repeatedly, you get a *long* time of solid practice.
Crapsticks, I can't focus.
