So I seem to have spent the first half hour I've been here dozing off, then I read a *delightful* Coyo-fic over on her InsaneJournal (and GAH I so want to link to it, but can't what with the whole LJ hullaballoo, so anyone interested should check ciceqi on IJ, is the latest entry), then I fiddled about adjusting my GreatestJournal setup and added my own InsaneJournal. Speaking of which, these be me in those two places: http://livingflame.insanejournal.com/ and http://livingflame.greatestjournal.com/ . Great start for a Monday, eh?
Anyway. Finally watched Hot Fuzz, and it is now on my list of favorite movies EVER (along with like Office Space, Lion King, the LotR trilogy, etc.). I really liked Shaun of the Dead, but I just loved Hot Fuzz. Maybe is because I'm a nut for action-comedy-buddy movies. (And ohman, I thought I was *nuts* for seeing subtext, but then those outtakes... XD! ) Must find some icons (including some of Fimmeh's, yes).
Rest of the weekend was WoWoWoWoWoW. Just because I could. Finally hit Botanica, Mechanar, Arcatraz, Durnholde, Black Morass, and Shattered Halls, amongst other things. Bunch of gear upgrades, minor but still something--and finally got some enchants done, even if it did cost a bunch for mats. I'm tired of being a slacker. Also repondering respeccing into destruction rather than demonology, but I do love demo so (would lose my felguard if I did, nooooooes). Just destruction is so much more damage... Also farmed a bunch, trying for mats for an epic tailor-crafted belt. Hopefully soon on that (along with a better shard-bag, and then I should think about a better jewel bag...). Nice to be finally enjoying the game again. Even if Nightmare Walking is a *really* quiet guild at times.
Also finally posted the link to that springkink fic over on the khyaoi community. 8/13 seemed a good occasion to do so. And being a hor for comments, I'm hoping it goes over well. Can't help it, just something that'd be nice considering how much more effort I put into it than tossing off a quick fic bit as I'm usually prone to do.
Also also. HahahaHAAAAAAA. The garden area of work here had another mudslide, thanks to more thunderstorms. Idiots, this is what they get for blowing off the landscaping of a steep hill for a year. A fugly tarp does not fool rain, no. (Least it's still somewhat cool/comfortable inside. Been dreading when it gets back to the usual AC-off-during-the-week heat.)
