March-warmed winds
gusting
across a pensive long-shadowed parking lot
dust plumes of winter grit unfurl
and the sun dresses up in summer's clothes;
I smell rain
thunderclouds prickling at the corners of my eyes
and I squint at the crow
perched on the shoulder of the sky
lurking
ruffling and spreading his wings of dusk.

working as intended (where x=well not quiet really)

There were grand plans for this evening. D: I ordered pizza and got grocery store sushi and chips and ice cream and stuff, and Anj brought over movies. But then Kelly couldn't make it due to helping out a friend who had a flare-up from her chronic illness. And while we did watch Stranger Than Fiction (which Diane REALLY enjoyed I must say), the Sean of the Dead DVD was bad D: So I *still* haven't seen it. Then Gina kind of crashed and burned so had to leave early, and thus Anj had to leave since she was driving.

Well. At least we had a little bit of the evening, and STF was really a lot of fun. And I sent half the groc. store sushi--which was actually rather decent--home with Anj, so not like it'll go bad before I can eat it. I shall have to finish my ice cream (Ben and Jerry's Cinnamon Buns) while gaming or something. I think I shall honor St.Patrick's Day (since I have a good amount of Irish background on my mother's father's side, bastard that he is) by listening to Eluveitie while I do so.
