what she does when you're asleep

Status report: tired, fretting, emo. WTB happy-ever-after fics STAT. Yesterday got to add The Big Fight to that which is poking at me of late. Such fun having all my bad parts dig up and aired out. Today all my nervous-anxiety habits are going like gangbusters.

Half tempted to take another afternoon of vacation time to work on holiday stuff, since I didn't get things done doing so Friday. I hate taking too much time off close together, but I've got the vac leave accumulated plus I don't really care about what higher ups might think since I'm plotting leaving anyway. (Reminds me, forgot to buy the paper yesterday.)

Is kind of funny...this morning Anj totally out of the blue started talking about the Snoopy and the Red Baron/Royal Guardsman Christmas album (and is ordering it from Amazon on CD). Funny coincidence, since I had just remembered about that after how many years when hearing the Christmas Bells song last week.

Also, did take off the aft from work, but spent it all dealing with more holiday stuff. Why does just getting gift cards take so much energy, really. So cards and the mini-tree still aren't done, but I think the majority of the getting is dealt with. Odd note when stopping at the bookstore though--where the hell was all their Kerouac? Wanted On the Road and Dharma Burns, if not a good complete collection of poetry, but they had none of those, just a few misc books. Unlike for every other poet in that section (speaking of which, got a nice TS Eliot collection yay). Gonna have to Amazon some Kerouac I think. Have wanted to for awhile, but after seeing some quotes recently, I'm really craving like whoa.
