So today is day of 3 interviews, but it is salvaged by dim thunderstormness. Tried to get to bed a touch earlier to be less groggy for people interaction--still only managed to get about 6 1/2 hrs., but that's actually a huge improvement so it works.

Not much special last night, just did an assortment of quest stuff with my troll alt. But she got a couple really nice items from Aaron's alt, and a third from a quest he let me tag along for. Really nice gear. Though the mail chest item is like lavender, so I now have a girly-looking troll. O_o Bracers are still crap gear, but hopefully I can replace those soon. And still haven't gotten to RFC, need to figure out whether I wanna go Sunday, or spend an extra day horde-side to do so. Perhaps Fri. night or Saturday.

So looking forward to tomorrow being done, even if that means staring down the dreaded training next week.

Just occurred to me--with as much as I babble and ramble, why is it I can never write? And those few times I do write, why can't I ever produce any long works? >_o

So. True. At least the way it's been here in NE. *heh*

Terry Pratchett's children's book Where's My Cow? is the CUTEST THING EVER. I'm serious. EVER.

See, it's not just the story, it's the story about the story--about Sam reading to his son. The story itself is cute, sure--but the bits about Sam reading, omg it's so charming~

A quote:

So he said to young Sam: "If you lose your cow you should report this to the Watch under the Domestic & Farmyard Animals (Lost) Act of 1809. They will swing into action with keenness and speed. Your cow will be found. If it has been impersonating other animals, it may be arrested. If you are a stupid person, do not look for your cow yourself. Never try to milk a chicken. It hardly ever works."

Young Sam thought this was funny.

And Sam Vimes thought: Why is Young Sam's nursery full of farmyard animals, anyway? Why are his books full of moo-cows and baa-lambs? He is growing up in a city. He will only see them on a plate! They go sizzle!

>D Ahhh, maybe it's just a fan thing. But still. It's darned freaking cute.
