(no subject)

Finally watched some Saiyuki Reload last night (yes, I know), with Gina and Kelly. Just the first disc, since that's all that Kel owns right now. She should be getting more soon. But it certainly didn't disappoint on the cheese and humor front, it really was as goofy as the first series. The 4th ep. hints that it can do serious and angst as good as the first series too, but I'll give that nod when I see it for sure. Because I really liked things like Hakkai's backstory and the couple of storyarcs that resulted in Goku breaking/removing his limiter--I mean really, really liked. I'll be super happy if this series has plottage that gets hits me like those. Also am amused at the credits--ahhh, art book stills, you gotta love 'em (and now manga stills! with Konzeon Botsatsu poking at the narrator! that amuseth me). Op. music was ok, I rather like the Ed. theme, lot of the music in between makes me go ^^;; Was some music in the 4th ep, during more serious bits, that I liked. Some of the bckgd music was kinda loungey.

Finally deleted a good chunk of icons, started adding in new. Have a bunch more saved on my hd at work that I need to upload Monday, and I have more searching yet to do.

Plans today...? Mm, vet, for one, maybe grocery store. Probably hide out on my troll warrior and be quiet and solo-ish...kinda feeling a mood, and have a bunch of quests to do anyway. Though I would really like to hit RFC, but that can wait, maybe Tuesday night if my mood doesn't shift.
