Fire coming out of a monkey's head

So some pipe in the basement dripped this morning--damp spot part on concrete, part on carpet--but despite testing nearly everything in the house I can't get it to do it again. So no idea at all why that happened, or exactly what to do to correct it. I guess James will test it more tonight, but it may be a case of calling a plumber and seeing if they can find the problem. Lovely, just dandy.

Ended up rather late to work thanks to that. And everyone in the light traffic ahead of me decided they needed to go like five fugging miles an hour. Asshats. And had a minor reaction to yesterday's allergy shots, so I have to call the dr's office. I'm hoping that *if* they do anything, it's just a reduction in dose and not going back a bottle concentration--when they remake that, it's so damned expensive, and wastes what's already there. Eh.

Didn't get into last night's MC raid. I just knew it. Got back from the dr's like just after 6, maybe 6:15 latest, and they were already full of rogues. I think it wasn't until 6:30 that they ran out of room for warlocks, and at least another hour before they had enough of the rest of the classes to fill the whole 40-person group. So, yay for me. Stupid too many people in that class. Anyway, helped others in the guild instead. Nothing super-cool, but eh, whatever. Gotta help the lower-lvl alts improve.

It's going to be 97 today. *97*. >< Do I need to say *yet again* how much I hate this city and this state? WTF someone wants to keep living here, I don't know.

But jeezus, 97. And we're not even to July or August yet. It's going to be an ugly, ugly summer. (And I don't care what they say about A/C, it's so humid and stuffy everywhere that nowhere is comfortable without a fan--trying to figure out the pipes thing this am had me sweating ><; )
