Aha, the sort of weekend I like. Friday went home just a touch early from work not feeling well due to the usual allergies. Napped a bit, got bills done, then had an amazing, amazing marathon session of WoW. ^^; Deadmines, Stockades, and a (second) trip to Gnomeregan which lasted until somewhere between 3-4am, plus time at Iron Forge to set up auctions and such that had me up until past 5. *yee hee* Bad me, but was a weekend~ <3 Something oddly fun about staying up until 10 minutes before you got up the day before.
Saturday was just going to fish (gotta guild buddy who can use some reagent fish for alchemy), but ended up going back to Gnomeregan a third time--still haven't finished all the quests ^^; But was cool--I like doing stuffs with the others in the guild. They're good-fun people, for the most part (there was one 15yr old on Sunday that would *not* stop talking sex/gf stuff, which had me rolling my eyes big time, but I can ignore *heh*). Hung out with Anj a bit in the evening. Sunday was the usual church thing (eh, and man was extra chaotic. I like Michael, but his services and that church are just wearing sometime...would help if I were religious/spiritual still >_>). Then another game marathon, this time leather farming and questing in a high level area--Stranglethorn Vale--with guild folks, and that was an absolute blast.
I dig STV...is really keen-gorgeous looking, vaguely southeast Asian somehow in the feel--gotta love jungle stuff with funky ruins. And massive gorilla, tiger, panther, and raptor-dinosaur things. I mean *massive*. ^^; Sasuke-rogue's hometown is now Booty Bay, which amuses me in its neutral (ie both faction) and pirate feel. Good fishing too, heh. And am lvl 33 now, too. *HEH*. Makes me happy, yes. (And minor part of one quest called 'Welcome to the Jungle' made me go *har >D*)
One thing for the dumb-but-amusing file--Saturday late after Anj left, decided to do some WoW-fishing. Was close to midnight-ish, the computer chair was very comfortable, so was messing around for awhile...and I think somewhere after 1am I fell asleep, and woke 2-2:30ish looking at a 'disconnected from server' message. Le whoops. ^^;
Heading out for dinner tonight...not sure if anything else is planned. No movies I really wanna see, but maybe I'll come up with something. To keep the peace at least. But I wouldn't mind just getting to toy with WoW more--I have minor quests I really need to do. And considering the Evercrack addict, I don't see that that'd cause *too* much fuss, at least later on. *shrugs* ^^; Work is the same busy...got some decent student apps, hopefully will start interviewing Wednesday.
