Wash away, wash away--
Feb. 11th, 2005 02:28 pmDidn't work on my in-game to-do list last night, naturally--ended up on a spur-of-the-moment thing trying out Gnomeregan with some guild folks. Very confusing, very challenging. Ended up feeling rather useless and deadweight when a couple higher-level folks came to help, and basically to stay alive we two low-level characters were kept at range/in the back. Not sure if it's really any better to be not getting to be in the thick of things versus being dead. Sometime I'll have to go back as I didn't have all the quests for that instance. Anyway, will tinker with to-do stuff hopefully tonight and this weekend. The usual.
Just found out the WoW Collector's Ed I ordered fell through. The vendor shipped out five packages, the post office returned three having been mangled in shipment--mine was, of course, one of those three. The person doing the auction was very apologetic and I guess is in the process of sending a money order to give me my money back. But I'm really disappointed, because I've wanted all that *stuff*, and I thought I was close to getting it. Really, really wanted the artbook and CD, and now it's back to looking--and the chance I'll score such an incredible deal again is nil. Will see what I can scour up, I guess.
Something must be stirring up my allergies--all mucked in the head and throat, kind of tight-feeling in the lungs. Bleah...probably some sort of dust or crud being stirred up at work here.
Because I'm a twit, I keep hitting songs that I think are perfect Sasuke or NaruSasuNaru ones. Bright Eyes' Something Vague, B'z Nightbird and now Raging River. Raging River is very very Sasuke, imo (from looking at the translated lyrics). Though the fact that it's joined the ranks of my favorite B'z songs is really unrelated. My B'z love is just growing by leaps and bounds of late--not everything is my favorite, but it all ranges from the decent to the really kick ass. I should make a list of what are the Di-best some time.
Ohyes, and Sasuke-rogue is 31. F-ing sweet. But now only nine levels to save for that big-cat thing.
