Cold November...drizzle

Yesterday went rather nicely, but was an incredibly long day (and we didn't even get to the Parasite Eve movie). Am still extremely tired, and rather pondering the idea of crashing soon after going home. The little kids in Kelly's neighborhood have no idea who Trogdor is, but did think the pumpkin was of a cool dragon. Luckily Anj was smart and actually brought her camera, else there would be no jackolantern or costume pics. Oh, and BoogiePop Phantom is really very neat and interesting and creepy...until like the last episode, which didn't fit the tone of the series at all and was just kinda weak. Funky, tho--I wanna see it again.

Hrmm...other stuff I could go on about, I suppose. But I'm too tired to. >_> (Bah, my supervisor's back, and in early for once >_o )

I wanted to write a poem today
Again.
But when I reached for words, they were gone
When I closed my eyes
and listened to the quiet dark in my head
the words still weren't there
(Again.)
--Save for the bits and fragments and false starts
already formed into crumpled wads of paper for the trash
before even being born.

I wonder if the words are pissed at me
if they stormed off,
slammed the door and locked it,
leaving me to sleep stiff and cold
on the couch.
