Finally got dl-ing of Waterboys to work yesterday--only took several attempts because Qwest had cable modem outages going on and off all afternoon, sometimes hours long. Which left me irritable, yes. ^^;

But have a few Muse mp3s now, which is good. And even better, I used the gc I got from Dave to grab both Kill Bill OSTs and two Muse CDs from Amazon (Showbiz and Absolution). <3 And even-even better, I found a site that sells Romanian music cheap, so I've wrangled a way to get the O-Zone Discozone CD >D <3 Will, *SO* will be sharing that. Even if people don't want it shared with them. *hee*

Up way too late makind sure dls actually finished. =_= But Anj and Gina were here late anyway (watched disc 2 of the Critic, not Child's Toy since Kelly wasn't around...wah ;-; But I like the Critic, too). So slept in late--for me, that is...oooh, 10<3 ^__^ (And I should sneak in that someone keeps finding ways of annoying me this weekend, but I'll leave it at that, yes. : ) )

Wah, no Leslie game today. Actually, was kinda looking forward to it. ^^; But she is ill. So perhaps will stop in at the thing at Michael's church that's celebrating Michael's father Richard having been ordained 50 years ago. Quite an anniversary ^^; But maybe I can convince the others for a zoo trip after that. *ponders*

Ha, I have a new Swiss Army knife<3<3 Fought my way through the blinding, blinding rain (seriously, some people were pulled over along the highway) to the outlet mall--was intending just to get pen refills for my old one. But they had one that was just like my old one, same color, same gadgets, same ballpoint pen--but instead of the tweezers, it's got a little red flashlight light. A flashlight! <3<3<3 The cashier was laughing at how in luffles with it I was, especially as I kept pushing the button and forgetting not to look into the light. Strangely bright for a microscopic light bulb. But...new Swiss Army knife<3 Pretty-shiney again, with verra sharp scissors and knife blades<3 Lovely<3

Went to the Wildlife Safari place outside town while James did Amptguard stuff--too bad Anj was busy, it was most keen. Humid as all hell and muddy (see the above blinding rain ^^; ), but got to see a bunch of elk, white tail deer, bison, pronghorn antelope, sandhill cranes, and so on--something extra neat about the call of an elk, sounds like the creaking of rusty metal, and about watching sandhill cranes dance about. And the smell of it all...so *green*. Really amazing place--on my 'wish I could show others' list. No...didn't have my camera. >_> Was at home, uncharged. Still. I'm charging it now, really *flails* Mainly because the bunch of us will be doing a Fontenelle Forest walk bright and early-early tomorrow morning, and at opening time, the chance of seeing interesting critters is super-high--and yeah, so Anj gnawed on me to get the battery ready ._.;
