Nov. 26th, 2003 04:33 pmAm lazy, and others have posted the full thingy, so will just tack on my Chinese zodiac year. Is about as applicable as the previous meme that made the rounds. ^^;
Ox

Today was a good'un. ^__^ Fontenelle is as kickass this time of year as I thought it would be--amazing how much you can see with all the foliage gone. Colors were rather keen--all golds and coppers, and just everything smelling of dry leaves and wood and soil. Saw four deer, squirrels munching acorns, and a train. : ) Zoo was ok, but kinda too many loud little kids and families, so I didn't stay long. Had a nostalgia attack at Borders, and picked up the cheap-paperback editions of Lloyd Alexander's Westmark trilogy (these books hugely-hugely influenced my taste in reading when I was 12--Alexander and Douglas Adams and Katherine Kurtz...). Evening will be at the Lloyd's to help Pat with foodstuffs for tomorrow. Will just have to keep from nodding off, heh...bummer about that getting up early today and not scheduling in a nap or anything. ^^;
