This --> http://www.grau.nu/random/index.php <-- is KatKat's comic (Kat being the SegakuLJRP deity, as well as coffee and 'cake' addict, art deity, and occasional spammity person *grins*) Go, read the webcomic. I commandeth you, er thee, er, whatever. Right. C'mon...! It's incredibly cute, the art is love-lovely, and it's just funny. >D I adore the characters, and hope this ends up a long running comic (*coughshintcoughs* ^^ *hugsKat* I know, is a ton of work, but I like it so, already...!)
And this --> http://members.chello.hu/viragh.andras/curr_EN.htm <-- is the website for the pipe organist whose concert I'm going to this afternoon with Anj and Kelly. This person is coming all the way from Hungary, to a small private university in Lincoln, because he's a friend of Anj's mother, who is a music professor at that college--something that's even a bit more cool because he's turned down appearances at major ivy league schools because they aren't as nice, and want to charge a ton for tickets. Whereas the school in Lincoln is selling concert tickets extremely cheap, and he prefers that. :) I like cheap. And I *l.o.v.e.* pipe organs. If he plays Bach's Tocotta and Fugue in D Minor (pardon my spelling), I will go organasmic. >D I wonder if anyone's ever mixed pipe organ and electric guitar music--if I ever hear something like that, I will die of sheer music-fangirly-ness. Heh.
Skipped church this am, to sleep in and to study. Amazing how he who is all-fired to go, and who basically makes me go even though I don't care to, skipped as well. I know he had an Amptguard thing, but even he said he'd only be a little late to it if he tried to do both church and the event. Hrm. *rolls eyes*
Much studying this am...haven't gotten any done Fri. or Sat. ^^; *flails* The listening lab part of it seems a lot more difficult this chapter. Dunno if it's because they're speaking more complex sentences that fast, or if I'm just not quite getting it. Am better at reading than hearing foreign languages anyway. *shrugs*
>_< Damned CoTylenol...even full strength isn't holding off this cold-headache anymore. Cough and headcold still hanging on, too, which really annoys/concerns me. I really, really don't want to deal with the dr. (middle-aged Indian woman who likes to nag me about various things, especially to give away my cats, which I will simply not do)...but if it's still a problem inna couple days, will have to assume it's a sinus infection and go to her for antibiotics. Gah.
GetBackers dls done...working on Tantei Gakuen Q dls... Bittorrent is still slow, but looks like I gotta put up with it for a bit--the update was only for Windows, so us Mac folks gotta wait a bit longer for our software to get updated as well. Ahwell. *shrugs* Least stuff is coming through, even if it is slowly.
