Found that on the dedication page of a book I catalogued today. Hm...I should rewatch that movie one of these days--I've got both the regular and director's cut.
Last night sucked as much as I thought it would...I knew there was a reason why I hate Wednesdays anymore. But oh well, I guess. Could be much worse--my life's good and I'm incredibly lucky for that. Is hard not to bitch at times, though. *shrugs*
Heard No Doubt's "Hella-good" on the ride in today--I should hate that song, really I should. It's so *not* ND's usual sound (I miss their Tragic Kingdom CD style), and it's so seventies-ish...not to mention there's not much to the song. Depth-less, anyone? *arches an eyebrow* But the damned tune is fscking catchy, and it smacked me with the plotbunny for a K/Hiiro PWP songfic (dammit >< ). One of those god-awful, cliche "characters are at a dance club for no reason" fics, where Hiiro would somehow get K on the dance floor, dancing would soon turn to grinding, and citrusy fun would follow. *pauses to gurgle a bit*
*shrugs* Not like I'll write it--most know my damned poor record for following through on my ideas (plus the fact that I've got several fic-fragments waiting for me already). But it amuses me, and might be worth it to get *something* K/Hiiro out there. The Gravitation fandom could use something not Yuki/Shuichi, as much as I like that pairing.
I've also got the worst, worst urge to write something Weiss Kreuz. Got a couple idea fragments floating around in my head. It's probably just the fact that I'm jonesing for good fics, and wouldn't it be dandy to find something RK/YO that actually had a story for once? >_< Eh. *shrugs* Dunno. Maybe someday. I should stop listening to the soundtrack--that surely isn't helping. Especially when I hit that fscking-awesome guitar solo on track 46...you know, the haunting, melancholy, broody piece they always play on the show when the guys are angsting and crying in the rain on some rooftop under the full moon? *smirks* Yeah, the show is one giant cliche, but it's frighteningly addictive fun.

I think I'm going to get it together (tonight?) and post the current fic ideas as a friends-only entry. So, do the same, then we can pester each other.
And, hopefully, it will keep me out of the cel sites. I've *got* to cut down.

Perhaps I should post up the two actual fic fragments I've been working on (you saw the one YnM one some time ago). I have to admit, this is the sort of time I wish I worked something other than 8-5--I tend to have the most energy for writing in the morning to midday, with my brain just tiring out by evening. *flails*

Actually, in other fandoms, there definitely is such a thing as 'hair brushing' fics. Especially involving Duo in GW fanfiction. I am not sure if I could see Hiiro and K doing so to each other, but perhaps... *grins* But that bit about 'em getting 'tangled'...oohyeah. Man, just kick up my hair fetish a bit more, why don't ya?
I just cringe at the thought of writing an actual PWP type fic--I really prefer to have something more to a story than just guys boinking each other. And with such a cliche, overused story concept! (characters go dancing for no reason has so been done, in every fandom I've read... *flails*) But the image is really staying in my head, bad... ^^;;
