whitereflectionNot much new today, not much to say. Yep.
Did Anj's birthday stuff last night. She wanted Genji for dinner, one of the local teppanyaki places. Wouldn't you know we'd end up coming in just after a party of 50 was seated (poor restaurant people...that group showed up without a reservation >_O). We were lucky to get in without a long wait, as they worked us in in some of the last few seats--but it still took forever for the chefs to work through all the tables. Think we were there over two hours.
With that, an ice cream trip, and hanging out, we ended up not getting any studying done, and were up late to boot. *wince* I so need more study time (and time for a lot of other things...) And I still need to get Anj a card and a little something, and Gina too. Baka baka me, for not having remembered. Rrgh.
On a work note, I definitely am going to hate the hiring and inevitable training process. >p And of course this is not true for all, but foreign students from certain areas of the world can be very, very pushy.
