Hmmm...it suddenly occurs to me to wonder how close any of the folks I know are to the power outages in the northeast. Am especially wondering about Moe, but also Sue, Mike, etc...

Usual morning this am. Forgot my inhaler today, though--be nice if I'd remember to do that, as it does make a difference. Yeah, skywatched again. Only saw one rabbit, though, which was odd compared to the four or five I've been seeing each am.

Got to do some IM RPing. ^__^ I can't help but do a little *I survived* dance. Though we didn't get far--I'm so blasted, blasted slow. Thing is, I've always been that way, even with what I did a couple-few years ago. Though, at the least, it was fun, and I'm looking forward to continuing--I mean, who'd have thunk that? Actually feeling eager to get back to it? *Keanu voice* ...whoa! Dude. Am very, very far from good at it, though, in addition to the slowness, but at least it's a starting point. And at least it's fun. Even if I forever suck, it's gotta be worth something just for the fun. Beware of ChibiKaido and his NerfRacquet. Heh. There are times I just wanna hug various people/characters involved in that RP...it's just...neat, ya know?

One odd thing I've noticed--a cool shower, one that's almost cold, feels really awesome after walking out in humidity.

*giggles* Oh, people love Taka-san! How can you not? He's just adorable and sweet, but man does he get into it when you hand him a racquet! I admit that I have it a little easier, being a Tezuka and Fuji fan, primarily, in that I get more merchandise. But, hey, tag me on AIM sometime (get my other names from Di, I don't like to publically post them) and I will set you up the bomb with Taka links and introduce you to Taka fans. ^___^

And then...*fufufufufu* there's the wacking and wonderful world of Yahoo Japan. It will own you. ^____^

I'm good Di, thanks. ^___^ The outages didn't affect my area. Though it seems every single vendor and supplier I work with for my job was affected. Everyone I talked to today was sitting in the dark, no computers. Neither they or myself could figure out what they were doing at work!

Ohgood...I'm glad to hear you didn't get affected. That would have been the last thing you needed, after everything going on. ^^;

I, unfortunately, was in the thick of the power outage. But, it happened AFTER the movie we were watching was finished, so that's good.

And everyone by and large composed themselves VERY well for the entire thing. During the car ride home, I heard nary a car horn, despite the massive amounts of traffic backlog because of the traffic lights being replaced by police officers.

But, yeah. We're fine up here. Thanks for wondering! ^_^

Wow, scary that you all got hit by it, but am glad it was basically uneventful and didn't last long. At first I hadn't even known the effects had gone up into Canada--who knew the power systems were that linked, considering they're run/controlled by different companies and regulatory services?

At least stuff's calming down--take care : )
