Been very distracted lately (Ore wa distracted? ^^; *scratches head* Suppose I'd have to say Watashi wa...or something the hell like that. What do I know? Four weeks until class starts... And when does someone say Boku wa...? Danged stupid language.)

The usual PoT distractedness. Haven't gotten a chance to watch stuff, but am still planning to slam some Friday evening and Saturday. Yeeeaaaaaaaay. ^__^

Also, very much distracted by mp3s/music. Went on another acquisition raid via Limewire/Gnutella, and found quite a few fun things--the newest Staind and Godsmack songs (which makes me think that Voodoo wasn't just some fluke for them--it's the only one of theirs that hasn't felt empty since that song), several of the songs for the AMVs from AX, a smackering of other things--including one of a local band called Cursive. If you ever find the song Art Is Hard, it's rather cool. A Cake song that is one of their few melancholy works (You Turn the Screw), an old Pretenders song (the one from that wp I did), and a lovelyfun little song by Three Days Grace. Needless to say, after just one hearing of I Hate Everything About You, I had to have it--it *neeeeeeeeds* a Kyo and Yuki fic done to it (from Kyo POV). It just needs it.

Anyway, still listening much to the PoT mp3s. They refuse to give me my brain back. All of them have addicted me--tho I am surprised that the Gakuto dadada song is hooking me as much as it is. I just hadn't liked his singing as Goku as much as this song. ^^ And I still think the Oshitari song is sex on a stick. Crafty is a song that maybe shouldn't be listened to at work, it's so distracting. Heh.

But the biggest distraction of all--thanks to a certain someone ^^ , I got into a Prince of Tennis LJ RP. WOO! >D I am *far* too eagerexcitedthrilledamusedhappy by this. It like caught me at a weak moment, where I'd been thinking I'd really, really like to get involved in something like that--and found out I could this am, and have already done a journal post. Ain't the best, IMO, but it's a start, and I can't wait to really learn/explore the character. Who? Do you even have to ask? Hsssssssssssss.... *hee hee hee hee hee* Sounds like there's the possiblity of chats/group writings, too, which could be cool, tho the thought of which still intimidates me a bit. Maybe as I get a feel for being Mamushi... ^^ So yeah, anyway, have had nearly nothing else on my mind except this the past couple days. Eeeeeeeeeeee. >D

Ackgh, something here has kicked off a good allergic reaction--sinuses *burning*, yeeeeeeeeow...! T_T Wish I knew what set it off--is different from my usual crud-in-the-head stuff. Didn't help I had to handle ick-old books at work today. Even picking up a stack of them will start me sniffling and make my face start itching.

Ahyes, and a strangeness of LJ...it doesn't like me trying to open two browser windows and logging in two separate LJ accounts at one time. Starts confusing it. Poor crappy software... ^^

Mmmm, not much else, not much else. Aaaaaa! Little cute-chibi Eijis are gnawing on my skull! Waaaaaaaaaaa!

Go with watashi, always err on the side of polite. ~grins~ I figure if I'm always extra extra polite with my forehead on the ground I might be forgiven for my hideous command (or lack thereof) of the language.

And boku is used by men, or more specifically boys. It's informal.

Watashi wa konwaku shiteiru... desu. I think. ^^ Or to be more specific, watashi no ongaku wa de ki ga chhiru desu. But I won't bet you a two faced penny the arrangement of that is correct. ^^;; Ah but I can say, kyou no tenki wa kumori desu. *coughs* Yeah, that's about seventy five percent of my ability...

Sometimes I'm tempted to use boku, just to be a rebellious shzt. >D Well, not around anyone Japanese and certainly not when class starts--but maybe like when goofing around with Kelly and Anj. Heh.

Wauuugh...need translations of what you said! God, it's gonna be so long before I can understand/construct stuff like that *genuflects in admiration*

*hugs* Have missed talking with ya!

Hey, no genuflecting! Trust me I know for a fact that only one of those sentences is correct.

The first tries to say "I am distracted." Only I have no idea if the verb form should change. The second tries to day "I am distracted by music." Oh boy who knows where the mistakes are there. I never know where to put my no's and wa's and I'm absolutly sure the verb form should change there but I have no idea what to. Plus there's probably a different word I should use for music that's more correct for popular music types.
The third does say "today the weather is cloudy." Though now it really should be kyou no tenki wa ame desu. (today the weather is rainy.) Or it could be Kyou no tenki wa doki doki ame desu. (today the weather is rainy on and off.)

I've missed you too. I miss talking to you through lj more, I miss writing in lj... Time just seems so stolen away from me. I think about everyone every day and regret so deeply that I haven't been able to keep in touch better. The petty bad person that I can be gets so jealous when I read that you've all been able to talk together. I want to be there too and I kick myself regularly. Which is a big part of why I said to my boss yesterday "you know, I want Friday off!" And took it. Next week is the last week we have students to help at the clinic and then it's back to longer hours. So even though I can't afford it I'm indulging in sitting in front of the komputer on a Friday with Jinto in my lap, trying to make some info posters for the donkeys who are participating in Unusual Farm Animal day at the Farm Museum tomorrow. ^___^ http://www.farmmuseum.org Jinto's excelling at his role of keeping my lap warm. ~grins~

Of course I had big plans to give them both a bath today and kyou no tenki wa ame desu...

Woooh wee, can I babble!
