Work very busy, something especially striking since we're usually so blasted slow/dead. How it can go from nothing to insane is beyond me. Still dunno why. Could be end of fiscal year, but who knows?
Have gotten a fsckbunch of musical scores dumped, I mean 'gifted' on us. Haven't seen any scores for almost a year, and even then we'd get a few per month--I think this batch is 50ish. They're *very* ugly to catalog, and it's taken me all morning, including skipping lunch, to process 7 and sort out 10 duplicates for discard. Only 30ish more to go... *FLAILS* And there are shelves of new books to do, and tons of stuff looming as about to hit very soon once Kelly sorts it.
Other news: another tornado warning this afternoon. One was spotted NW of the city, but did not touch down. Dunno if I've got any hail/wind damage on my car or house yet though. Doubt I do--it was another quick storm, and we were only in the warning a half hour, actually a bit less. What was amusing was I'd walked to the UNO post office and back, and I literally said to myself that we were going to get a warning. The air was that humid--ie.breathing water--and the sky just midnight blue-black, with lightning. So maybe I'm not psychic, but still...was only back in the building for several minutes when the sirens went off.
Anyway. Zoom. Matrix. >D
