This is going *TOO* far. What they are trying to attempt is *hacking* plain and simple. They better as *hell* not do this to anyone, to *anyone*. Because get real--hacking is *illegal*, no matter who's doing it, no matter their reasons for doing so.
I am appalled at how low the recording industry in the US, and their affiliates in the rest of the world, will sink. I knew they were becoming more and more dirty/unethical, but this just takes the cake. I had sworn off buying anything from an official US label, but this cements that. I will never buy another thing from a US recording industry label, or from related ones worldwide. I will only buy music that is from independent/unsigned groups, from local bands, or from international groups on labels not affiliated with the US recording industry or their global representatives. Or I will buy things direct from the iTunes music store. And I will continue to use Limewire/Gnutella and downloading things directly off the web. But never again will I get another CD backed by our recording industry labels. Dear fucking gods, you corporate bastard *pigs*.
