Figured I'd post the links for those who feel as I do. Hopefully the shirts I ordered should get here in not too long--wonder what would happen if I wore them to work? *ponders*
A brief word on my 'hang the 2.5ftx3.5ft monstrosity of a spice rack' project--spectacular failure. That's the best way to describe it. I put the f in fuck-up, and the s in sucks. I will not list all the things I've been calling myself in regards to the debacle, as it would go on far too long, and I gotta ton of shit to do today. But it's not pretty. Now my wall looks all fucked up, and I still have to figure out a way of getting the stupid-assed thing hung up. Brackets obviously don't work. Maybe I can just drill through the wood of the rack into the wall studs. Or maybe I'll fuck that up, too. :p Nice way to waste all of Thursday and Friday evenings--didn't even eat last night until after 11pm.
Gotta keep myself busy this weekend--I have just the to-do list from hell. :p
Oh, and one more little thing that amused me, politically: http://www.sinfest.net for today (3/29/03). Yeah.
And where the hell did this snow come from? *flails* Fscking spring. It's only a dusting, but it was a cold, sleety, bitter-windy storm that passed through last night. Yuck.

Date: 2003-03-29 10:17 am (UTC)And don't kick yourself over the spice rack project. Please! You should see the end result of my mornings' work in the barn. On the list was to hang two bucket loops, a salt lick cage, two cross-tie loops, a bridal rack and a gate latch. Probably a total of a dozen heavy screws and two bolts.
Weeelllll.... They're all hanging, they're all straight. Now. And I've got enough metal splinters embedded in my left thumb and forfinger to make up at least half a new screw.
I won't admit to how many screws I threw away because I stripped them trying to force them into 200+ year old wood. >__
