Melodramatic Fool

Made a fool of myself on my guild's forums, feeling like I'm only put up with at my other guild, cranky at just about everything (up to and including *of all the silly dumb things* the fact that the Spn h/c community I like seems to be like 95% hurt Dean or Jensen anymore and goddangit I very much prefer hurt Sam or Jared and *criminy* this is a really stupid thing to be irritable about >_< ).

And Sasu-rogue's new chest armor looks like--no lie--a leather corset. Am not sure whether to be put off or amused or find it hot (because leather armor's always been bland, it's plate and cloth that gets the sexay stuff). Though the haHA of it is the t9.whatever rogue armor set is named after a *male* NPC, so what does that say about Mr.VanCleef, hmm?

Orrrrrr maybe I just won't sleep at all? Tagged my writing (the little there is of it) over the past few years/fandoms, so at least it was productive I guess. :| I dunno. Maybe it's worth trying a half hour nap, even if to keep the husband from freaking out that I pulled an all-nighter (it annoys him, though I'm honestly not sure why). Eh.

Day Number Two, by anyothergirl415 at masterlist415, Sam/Dean, R. Continuation of the 'handwritten' notes and doodles between Dean and Sam post a curse. So makes me laugh. SO. \o/ It's adorable, and the Sam and Dean voices come through *perfectly*. I can't imagine their handwriting and caps emphasis/punctuation/abbreviation styles not looking like this now. And it's hot. ;D

You wouldn't be able to tell from this post that I spent most of today emoemoemo. Something like this just makes me too amused and happy, ya know?

1. Why the hell am I still up? The world may never know.

2. Up was *awesooooooome*. I am so, so kicking myself for not having seen it in the theater, because it must have been just utterly amazing like that. But ohman, I know the DVD was Anj/Gina/Kelly's birthday gift to James, but this was like my perfect movie. Bittersweet, while so adorable and happy, funny, moving, weird, freaky, gorgeous, meaningful, bizarre, and just utterly cute. ♥ And such heart, personality, and soul to the characters--not to mention, egads, writers that can actually get 'kid' personality right? Gasp :o Not to mention animal. X3 I think "I do not like the cone of shame" is going to remain stuck in my head for a very long time. ♥

3. James' DnD game today (yesterday?), and at one point the old Champions system got brought up and I was hit with the most massive nostalgia for it. I miss superhero games, and I miss that game system--you could do anything with it, not just heroes stuff. College gaming *was* Champions in our group, and I wish I wasn't the only one who misses getting to tinker with it. : / I liked the feel of the mechanics.

4. WoW has added a Thanksgivingesque holiday to the game, which naturally features: the cooking and eating of themed foods, costuming, bonking other players with food items, a gadget that turns rogues into turkeys, slaying masses of wild turkey critters (sadly not the rogues), and yes, of course, an achievement based around going to the opposing faction's capitals to sit at their special holiday table so gankers can kill people just trying to complete their holiday meta-achievements. Blizzard never learns. >_< But I want the turkey pet, sooo.... Oh, and...it's the fifth anniversary of the retail release of WoW today. 5 years (plus some including the time I spent in that open beta before it all). Criminy. Looking back in the archives, all the names I picked that day were Naruto-based -___- Oh, self. *facepalm* And oh self, how you sort of haven't changed, except for the fandom.

5. http://longsufferingly.livejournal.com/70506.html This is the most awesome ficlet/coda/crack/wtf-ery ever for 5x08. How the beans did I not see it until tonight. Had me laughing 'til my eyes bled, or at least until it was hard to breathe, or something. I sort of have a jr.highschool crush on that author's sense of humor (i.e. I sort of want to take it to the dance and hold its hand, but mostly just stare across the room creepily at it during class).

The coolest thing in the history of ever. I don't know why. It just is. Click on the image for the large version. The chart at the top just about gives me tingles, with the sheer awesome and riverlike/highwaylike web-threads of it all. Dude, I want a print of it I can frame. (Seriously, *tingles*. I think I have a graphical representation kink now.)

Guild got the hardmode/ToGC25 version of Jaraxxus down, yay for us. And finally did the Wrathgate cinematic with Sas, so have finally seen the Alliance version of the retaking of the Undercity. Have only hoped to see that since like this time last year, just about. The character of Varian Wrynn is still a prick. And the cinematic itself still makes me cry my eyes out like a schoolgirl.

Got very belated bday money from the inlaws. Trying to tell myself not to blow it all on amz mp3s or some of the poetry books I've been wanting. Wanty want want. Speaking of music, someone very awesome shared some Arcade Fire (Funeral and Neon Bible), and I am digging it very much thus far. Will have to finish NB tomorrow. Today. Something.
