What the hell is this head cold out of absolutely nowhere? Up until about 7pm this past evening, I felt perfectly fine. Then bam, utter crap. There isn't even anything going around that I know of.

Noticed during D&D yesterday that at some point, who knows where/when, one of the diamond chips in my wedding ring'd gone missing (There's the main stone, and there were 6 very small stones, now only 5). Awesome.

Anyway. Whee, August. As of the 1st, I've been doing the LJ thing here for nine years. In a couple weeks, I'll have been unemployed for a year. And in 18 more days, I'll be 37 (I've been...stewing about this.) Blargh.

I just feel sort of upset at myself about it, because if I'd have kept up with getting it inspected by the store it was from twice a year, fixing things like that would be free. But I stopped bothering, mainly because I got lazy (the stores of that chains are in malls, and I really hate malls, so... :/ ), and so now fixing it will cost. I feel bad, too, because I'm just so rough on delicate things, and wish I'd known that a decade ago, so I could have told my husband to just get a nice, sturdy gold band that I couldn't mess up.

Good luck with the writing, by the way--I know how rough it can be to have things just get blocked and not work. Maybe having things you're having to worry about such as having to go out of the country is affecting your ability to create. Even if you aren't able to do anything new right now, I've been enjoying the x5!Jared 'verse a lot--reread all that about a month back, for I think was the 3rd time, and I swear I want to re-re-read it again already. ^^; Odd thing is, I still have never watched Dark Angel. I really just like the way you presented that world and its characters, and tweaked it for your own story.

Thank you. I guess you are right. I'm so stuck with everything but I think once everything is settle I might get back into the flow, if I have time.

And thank you, I'm so happy with the x5!Jared verse and it's nice to know that it works for others as well. I know it's an odd pairing but it's so much fun writing and re-watching the eps to get the facts straight. :D
