So it's the oven/stove. >_< Seems like the furnace/AC tech's detectors were picking up carbon monoxide from the burners that ranged from about 5ppm spiking up to 50-60ppm, and the oven itself is getting values around 200ppm when turned on. WTHIF. Calling in an appliance tech to service that obviously. >_o At least we've got the microwave to use.
The furnace is okay, though, and there's a plumber coming Wednesday am to check the water heater situation and help us set up for a replacement if needed (probably needed, highly likely it's rusted underneath and leaking from that). And now we have a sparkly high-quality carbon monoxide detector that's much better than the hardware store sorts we had (not flaky, sensitive to much lower values, etc).
