whitereflectionI just spent almost two hours typing in a day-by-day con report for AI. I was on the last *freaking* line. And godfreakingdamned Netscape crashed.

...fine. I'll do another one, but it won't be as detailed, and probably won't happen today. Suffice to say is we got back last night. Had fun, spent a lot, and had to deal with some weird shit with some of my RL friends from Omaha that'd gone with. The Macrocosm costume worked, and went over very well--there were a ton of awesome costumes there. I'll post links to pics as I find them.
We came home to find that the other guy's insurance decided to stop paying on our car rental after last Friday. We're contesting that because a. they didn't tell us how long we had, and didn't forewarn us *at all* that they were ready to stop paying and b. we were out of town anyway, so we couldn't have given the car back if we had been ready to! *flails* Nice of them to decide Friday that Friday was the last day, only leave one message, then not make sure we were getting that message. (And yes we took a long time to get around to shopping for another car--but I've been only fully mobile for the past week and a half! *flails*)
In any case, we're going to re-check out the Saturn wagon we'd found last weekend at Saturn of Bellevue. With luck, it'll be ok, and we can buy and insure that bugger, and give Enterpise back their car. Dunno how reachable I'll be this week, what with car stuff, my lesson, getting ready to go to Wichita this weekend... *flails*
Cats are ok, we're ok basically. Life's back to it's vaguely normal state.
