1. Why the hell am I still up? The world may never know.

2. Up was *awesooooooome*. I am so, so kicking myself for not having seen it in the theater, because it must have been just utterly amazing like that. But ohman, I know the DVD was Anj/Gina/Kelly's birthday gift to James, but this was like my perfect movie. Bittersweet, while so adorable and happy, funny, moving, weird, freaky, gorgeous, meaningful, bizarre, and just utterly cute. ♥ And such heart, personality, and soul to the characters--not to mention, egads, writers that can actually get 'kid' personality right? Gasp :o Not to mention animal. X3 I think "I do not like the cone of shame" is going to remain stuck in my head for a very long time. ♥

3. James' DnD game today (yesterday?), and at one point the old Champions system got brought up and I was hit with the most massive nostalgia for it. I miss superhero games, and I miss that game system--you could do anything with it, not just heroes stuff. College gaming *was* Champions in our group, and I wish I wasn't the only one who misses getting to tinker with it. : / I liked the feel of the mechanics.

4. WoW has added a Thanksgivingesque holiday to the game, which naturally features: the cooking and eating of themed foods, costuming, bonking other players with food items, a gadget that turns rogues into turkeys, slaying masses of wild turkey critters (sadly not the rogues), and yes, of course, an achievement based around going to the opposing faction's capitals to sit at their special holiday table so gankers can kill people just trying to complete their holiday meta-achievements. Blizzard never learns. >_< But I want the turkey pet, sooo.... Oh, and...it's the fifth anniversary of the retail release of WoW today. 5 years (plus some including the time I spent in that open beta before it all). Criminy. Looking back in the archives, all the names I picked that day were Naruto-based -___- Oh, self. *facepalm* And oh self, how you sort of haven't changed, except for the fandom.

5. http://longsufferingly.livejournal.com/70506.html This is the most awesome ficlet/coda/crack/wtf-ery ever for 5x08. How the beans did I not see it until tonight. Had me laughing 'til my eyes bled, or at least until it was hard to breathe, or something. I sort of have a jr.highschool crush on that author's sense of humor (i.e. I sort of want to take it to the dance and hold its hand, but mostly just stare across the room creepily at it during class).

6. Seriously, why the hell am I still up.

I watched Up yesterday OMG SO CUTE! My dogs were watching with and their attention was on the screen the entire time.

"Hi there!!" that's exactly how my dog, Buddy acts. I'm sure if he could talk, that would be the same voice too.

Haha, Castiel listens to Backstreet Boys while writing Wincest TRUFAX XD

I am off the WoW crack pipe, at least for the moment. However, I feel a strange nostalgia upon reading about the new holiday. I had a lot of fun with some of those acheivements ...

I watched Star Trek right after and they could have cared less, haha. Though Nell, our mama dog, looked up when she heard a loud noise on the TV.

Oh, how cool that you used to play. :D But crack pipe--so freaking true. ^^;; It can suck up so much time and energy it's not even funny. I can't imagine the kids who play it while still doing school, or those that have children. My husband and I both play, opposing factions actually, which makes for some interesting discussions at times, heh.

Don't know if you ever were in fights with the dragon Onyxia back when you did play, but for the 5th anniversary, they gave away 'onyxian whelpling' pets. It's scary cute, and does her deep breath emote, then blows a smoke ring. ^^

YEEESSSSSSSSS, oh good golly yes. Four sniffling, teary thirty/forty-somethings in one room (and that includes the husband, heh). Pixar is just amazing at what they do, not just technically, but their writing. Just stellar. ♥

Oh, I miss playing fantasy RPGs, too. I used to play The Dark Eye all through my teenage years and it was so much fun. I still get the TDE fanzine, even though I haven't played it in years. But the memories... they'll always be with me. :)

That icon is so awesome XD I have such a thing for dice--used to always be buying 'em constantly. The weirder colored/patterned, the better.

So. Much. Time. (How much? Steven made High Warlord, back in the day. That took ... about 15 weeks of 110 hours weeks of kick-ass battleground PVP. *laughs feebly*) Steven and I always played the same side, or else things could have gotten ugly. I like the bronze riding dragon from the timed CoT Strat run, myself. And fishing. For some odd reason, I always loved fishing.

The more I hear about WoW, the more I want to play. Must Resist!! :P

Thanks! I just had to have a dice icon. xD Oh man, I know what you mean! I have a candy jar full of dice, D4 to D20, in all colors of the rainbow. My favorite set is a dark jade green/gold one (pic here (http://www.f-shop.de/images/products/CHX27415-detail.jpg)). Dice are just something wonderful for geeks like us. <3

Ahaha XD It is crack, crack I tell you! Beware!

And Up, oh it's so worth it. Like when 5x10 made me cry, or like All Hell Breaks Loose 1 & 2, etc, etc., I just can't rewatch those. But this I would rewatch again and again.

FISHING ♥ Egads, what is it with fishing, I love it so X3 My first toon, one of the reasons I levelled slower than most was I'd spend hours and hours fishing--sometimes people in my first guild would ask if I wanted to quest or instance, and I'd be all "Nah, I just want some fishing time." Any character I play at all seriously, I'll max the skill out. It's oddly relaxing. ^^;

And wow o_o A high warlord when it meant something, that's impressive. Back then, I really respected (most) grand marshals and high warlords--the incredible amount of time and skill it took. 100+ hours a week *does not surprise me at all*. Was just mindblowing how a person would have to do PVP and nothing but that (including real life things :x ). And the politicking that would go on for it as well, at least on Alleria where I'd originally played. There we had at least one character who was played by an apartmentful of college roommates, damned near 24 hours a day, and that used to cause a lot of arguing. I must admit, I don't like the arena system they have now--I think those old honor ladder ranks were better, despite the horrid amount of time they required. : /

Shimmery dice ♥ I love those. I stopped myself buying after filling a second dice bag--though I like the jar idea, especially for those not commonly used. Would be like plastic versions of stained glass. :D Used to buy mostly individual ones when I hit comic shops or conventions, only a few sets. So now when I play I have to pick out my favorite multisiders each time, it's like a ritual or something. ^^;

Comic shops are what I used to buy most of my dice from. But I've recently discovered that I don't spend as much money for pretty dice when I buy them online – no impulse buys but careful consideration. Can never hurt to save some money. :D

The dice jar looks very pretty indeed. Even if most non-roleplayers look at it strangely. *giggles*

Mmmh, dice rituals. *sighs fondly* I have sets assigned to my favorite characters. I don't use these dice for any other characters – the luck might fall out of them, so to speak! xDDD

o_o I never thought of buying dice online (and I think the only reason I stopped getting them was because I haven't been to comic shops or game conventions in eons). I think...I might be doomed, now. X3
