For the first time in more than four decades, Nebraska was not a fully red state. We're one of the few states that allow split electoral votes, and Obama has won the second district (the Omaha-based one, where I'm at). It's been since 1964 that any of our electoral votes have gone Democrat. And as noted in the news article here http://omaha.com/index.php?u_page=2835&u_sid=10481441, "Nebraska is the first state in the modern era to have a split electoral decision."
