whitereflectionWindows/patio door are in, and to be honest they look really good. But they weren't able to use the original frame around the living room ones (now a single bay). So there I've got bare trim I somehow have to have varnished (allegies bad to varnish/stain/paint, can't do myself at all). Also, the new trim there isn't as wide as the old--and it reveals a flaw in the drywall below, where once upon a time someone cut it very unevenly. So there's these weird at time finger-width gaps underneath it. The window people filled it in with painter's caulk, but it still looks ugly.
Also, net has been fucked all day. Losing signal over and over. Kept resetting the cable modem, but it keeps happening. Contacted Cox, and they won't be able to have someone out til Friday afternoon. Best thing is...it's their fault! :D :D :D The person who installed, didn't change outlets/cable that were originally Qwest/Telechoice. Except the old cabling doesn't handle digital signal right. The cable modem could handle the bad signal for awhile, I guess, but it can't anymore. Hence, we go offline/online constantly. Such fucking hate for all internet providers. BALLS BALLS FUCK ASS BALLS, all of them.
ALso also. While I was cleaning my glasses, they fucking snapped in half, right in the middle of the nosepiece. Titanium frames, my fucking ass. They were just a year and a half old. Can't read close without them, am not supposed to drive without them. Will get massive eyestrain when I don't use them. Guess I need to beg the optometrist to fit me in tomorrow...though, I need my prescription changed. So do I pay for old lenses into new frames, then new lenses next I guess? (Since I can't go without glasses for the 2 weeks needed to redo lenses.) Don't want the same frames if that's what's going to happen, if they're that crap. But doubt the old lenses would fit into any other frames. Fuck, fucking fucking fuckety fuck goddamnit. This is not the time to spend money on fucking glasses anyway. FUCK.
Oh, I see I've gone offline since I started this (mood pic won't show up, user pic won't change...). Guess I'll let it sit until SOMETHING in this fucking house starts working again.
