My friends' display page is all messed up for some reason. I can't figure out what's wrong with it--I dunno if it's something lj has done, or if it's something to do with the quizzes going around recently. *flails* Very odd...

Visit to Seward went ok. The usual thing, really--hang out, talk, eat, deal with the fact that a lot of folks there smoke. :p My grandmother wasn't looking so good...I know she's in her eighties now, but still. She's had nutritional deficiency problems, and she's just looking so thin and frail, and like she's not got enough energy--not to mention she's got a ton of bruising, also nutritional related, I believe. They're trying to increase her appetite, trying to give her pill and shot vitamin/mineral supplements, but I dunno...I just have a feeling her body's starting to slowly shut down. I know, it's inevitable, but still. Meh, I guess 'but still' is the phrase for today. :p

Was fun hanging out with my cousin, like I thought. :) Got to meet her new girlfriend, and she was really neat and friendly. I liked her a lot--also was good to see that they were really cute-"aww"-sweet together. My cousin's had a hell of a lot to deal with in her life, and the recent family stuff has just been icing on the cake--so some happiness is an extra good thing. And strangely I was in wisecrack mode today--which is ok, I suppose, since it seemed to amuse the others, but it's a bit of an odd mood. I suppose it was a post caffeine and sugar overload thing, or something.

Having weird dreams, last night and when dozing in the car coming back home. Nothing coherent, just flashes, bits and pieces. I'd remember 'em if I wrote 'em down, but they've all slipped away, leaving only that lingering feeling of "damn, that's odd". Last night at least one was somehow StarWars related--like Phantom Menace something or other, I think. Yeah, geek dreams. ^^;; Go me.
