whitereflectionAh, yes, I see. When they said Pacific Street would be closed starting last Saturday, they meant *for a long time*, not just that day. Whoops. That was startling. Odd how while other road closings for construction were getting mentioned over and over and over on the radio traffic news, this one wasn't even mentioned once. Huh.
Major case of the first day after a long weekend blues. I think I'll be better after this week, after I get through this current batch of stuff to train my coworker on, and finally get done with the e-profile thing (done hell, started...). But for the moment, the happy-content buzz is kinda gone, back to the usual mope. Getting up at 8 or 9 >>>>> getting up at 5:30.
They've started rearranging the 2nd and 3rd floors for the next phase of renovations--where the western half of both floors will be entirely shut off, behind construction walls. So everything's being shunted to the eastern half of the building or 1st floor. Will be very odd.
