whitereflectionFinally started watching stuff at http://www.yugiohtheabridgedseries.com while waiting to go to dinner with Dad and Dave last night. I'd seen a couple eps and the movie, but finally just started watching from the beginning--got through 1-12. Funny, funny, funny >o< If only this computer had a sound card, I'd watch more when I should be working, like now at lunch.

Also, this morning saw this on a Roberts Dairy truck outside Starbucks: "Cow'nt on us." ... ... ..............GAFSDFKSJFDSDSHK. There is not enough /twitch to adequately describe the twitch-wince-facepalm that I felt reading that. The intentional misspelling is bad enough--but holy WTF apostrophe, Batman. Guess what, Roberts Dairy--'Cownt' is neither a contraction nor a possessive. If you really need to make the LOL WE SPELLED IT WITH COW BECAUSE WE GOTS MILK that obvious, how about use a different color for the letters, or bold/italicize them, or light them up in neon and with little chaser lights like you're in Las freaking Vegas. Or just admit if you really have to make it *that* obvious, your target audience is a bunch of mouth-breathing helmet-wearing monkeys who aren't going to understand it anyway. But stop the apostrophe abuse, seriously. They never did anything to you.
Also also...automatic flush toilets: controlled by a mechanism and sensor, or possessed by demons?

Our main goal is to reduce the series to a fraction of its actual length, making it more accessible to Joe Public. After all, does Joe Public want to watch hours upon hours of card games in the vain hope of catching the slightest shred of plot? And if so, then why? What is Joe's problem? Perhaps he should have taken that job at the restaurant when his wife told him to. Then maybe he wouldn't be divorced with overdue child support payments.
