whitereflectionTuesday-Mondays, Monday-Tuesdays. Either way they rather blow. Not falling asleep terribly well, which doesn't help. Caffinated this am (actual hot drink even, since it was cool out), but didn't make my already complaining stomach happy. Also probably why I be grumpier than before. >_>
Already was crankylike, this whole weekend even. Guild stuff royally pissing me off. Another long-time guildmate/friend taking a leave of absence kinda bumming me out. PVP-ing with Nin (did a bunch since hitting 60) making me cross at times. Frustrations at C'thun fight making me outright angry. And this morning, person on the radio just...was a sick fuck and really set me off.
Basically, every single radio (and I imagine TV) station is talking Steve Irwin. No surprise. But this one woman calling in, she was like "OMG I was such a fan I adored him they should show the video of the stingray barb stabbing him as a tribute to his fans so they can see his last moments" YOU. SICK. BITCH. Dunno what the radio djs said to that as I switched station. Was SO fucking disgusted. I sincerely sincerely hope and wish that whatever video footage they have of that is destroyed now, before it ends up on the web, on tv, what have you--because I so fear it will. If people want to watch an ugly mutt like Paris Hilton sucking some guy's wang, or sick fucks want to watch someone burn a cat, or shit like that, then they'll want to watch this. And FFS, for *once* let's not have that happen. *Please*.
Anyway, wish I could break out of this spate of anger-ness. Probably won't help that I plan on grinding AV more tonight and perhaps Friday. Have a staff I want to get when I get revered rep. >_> Need to work toward exalted, but I'll take a break at least for a bit, perhaps for AV until the next AV weekend a month away. Could do team PVP with the guild until then, some WSG or AB. Tho those can be annoying too. But better with people I know and like.
Work is usual so far. Still cataloging Russian books, which is kind of brain-taxing. Did have some very strange news, about my one coworker who'd been assaulted a bit over a month ago. Last week she'd seemed kind of wobbly, but due to some disabilities that can happen. But at one point right next to my cubicle she just fell, out of the blue, and had trouble standing again. Now we hear that over the weekend doctors found she'd had blood seeping and collecting on the right half of her brain since the injuries, and she'd had to have surgery to clean it up and make repairs. Sounds like she's ok, but is facing physical therapy. So...more anger, at the individual who'd done this to her. Just...what the fuck and holy shit, you know? Sad that I can't put it into better words.
Certain music I've been listening to keeps making me think of pairings, IchiIshi, ByaRen and such. I should note down which and try to share. But frustrating, since it makes me want to read, and there isn't anything really, not for days now. Another mini fic drought I guess. Never can join enough communities to have something to read, honestly.
And people need to quit staring. Stupid public machines. Stupid ass-slow connections or lost connections that keep requiring web page reloads. Not happening back in the staff areas, I can guarantee you. Yes we SO make our patrons our highest priority, uh huh. Pull the other one, it's got bells on.
...also. Sudden spate of fall weather makes me *so* danged thrilled. Made chili yesterday to celebrate it. So beautiful-cool-nice this am. I know it won't stick around for some weeks yet, but love the first taste of it. Autumn, come soon, plz /pines ♥
