whitereflection♥♥ to katkatkat~ Gave me links to Bleach music and poked me with the site to dl Bleach manga Saturday...and well I'm so fucking gonna regret it when 5:30 hits, but currently am up through v.22 of Bleach :D :D Only a few more volumes and a handful of chapters and I'll be totally caught up (ok, but the rest will wait really, do need some sleep ^^; ). I'm finally understanding more of what's going on, and who all the cast is. But really, it all boils down to: *Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~♥! Oh man...totally can't express my squee-ness at it all. The ending of the Soul Society arc just about tore me up (though honestly was the whole Soi Fong/Yoruichi fight that got me sniffly).
Totally totally in fangeek love for this series. Totally. And so many pairs I'm giddy over >o< Got my IchiIshi and ByaRen (Byakuya end of arc is *just* like I thought he'd be ♥ ), and now there's YoruSoi and OMG Shunsui/Ukitake OMFG ♥!! Was already wibbly over Ukitake and just too amused at Shunsui, but omg the two of them >o< ~!! About flailed myself to bits over the twin swords bit. I think if I'm ever needing to write myself some squishy fluff, it'll be those two.
But yes, becoming much more confident I could work with ByaRen, having seen their battles and interactions, and that bit of conversation in the infirmary. I can work with this sort of starting point. >:D
But omfreakinggah, what a spectacular manga. Love the story, love the characters, just uwah *flaily* And really living up to my fangeeking, as opposed to things like PoT or FMA or Naruto where I had to ignore parts to still like it--or it just got me too fed up to like it anymore. I'm just not having things about how the mangaka is handling things for Bleach that are annoying me, which is nice. Now to hope the anime (ie the filler) doesn't burn my interest. Though at least I know I can still read the manga even if the anime ends up lacking. Yay for a manga that has staying power ^.^
Ohman, though, so much to reread over, to really let it sink in. Especially the end of the Soul Society arc, was really tearing through that fast :x
