whitereflectionYargh. Do not feel good. Colds n' crud are infecting various parts of the country, guess it is all hitting here.
So. Life. Yes. All is v. well for brother Dave, who will be graduating from law school end of next month. He's even got a job waiting for him after he does the bar exam this summer--in the exact specialization he wanted, too (computer-related patents and copyright/intellectual property). On the one hand, he's a lucky bastard--on the other, he's worked effing hard for this. So good show. Just gotta find him a kickass graduation gift somehow.
Mom will be flying out for a couple days at that time, so will get to visit her a little in amongst all the ceremony stuff (one dinner, a hooding, the commencement, a lunch, egads). Ah miss Mom yes.
Work is usual teh suck. Getting by day by day (more often hour by hour or minute by minute). Tho feeling cruddish means sick time \m/>_<\m/ Though I shouldn't, considering the two half days of vacation I took last week.
WoW has been teh productive--was a raid light week due to Easter holidays and massive burnout (wtf couldn't take down Razergore wut?) But levelled Nin a lot trying (trying >_>; ) to keep up with Kat's priesty. Only two levels until horsey mount >o< No more running *tears of joy* Also finally levelling her skills--well, tailoring. Can't level enchanting til I get her into Uldaman somehow >_< Teh suck. Also finally going to level my druid enough to be able to max out alchemy. Or such is the plan. Also! Got Sas the new rank of backstab from AQ20 which makes me TEH HAPPY. And spent a lot of time and money finally making one alt a bank character (poor dorf hunter) and getting stuff arranged. Yay for massive enchanting bag for Nin--soon hope to have massive herb bag for Sas or Estr-druid.
Music of late has been good. Yay for new Blue October (Hate Me <3)--finally got their CDs Foiled, History for Sale, and Consent to Treatment, and also a really nice live concert disc. Also intrigued by the new Avenged Sevenfold, Beast and the Harlot. Good guitar-work in that. Other stuff too, just can't recall now that I'm actually doing a post, figures.
Also also--finished Haibane Renmei, and that is a really good series. Just few would watch it because it's so different. Slow in pace, but very much about describing a world and characters and *very* focused on the personal growth/development of certain characters. It's a beautiful show, really, in the animation and in the emotional/spiritual feel.
Technically supposed to be doing dinner with Dad and Dave, and a gal friend of Dave's, this evening--but I dunno. Le blargh. *flops ded*
