whitereflectionWah, I should write this now before it's not today anymore. So tired, though--wanna go fall into a food-coma. ^^;
But maybe I can keep it short. Wanna just say that this has been the most incredible, fabulous day. Seriously, this is a time where I absolutely *have* to use the mood icon 'loved' because criminy, I am. It's amazing. You all are amazing. Truly.
So I consider it probably my best birthday ever. Not that I haven't had happy ones, but this...again, back to the loved thing. I've just been flying high all day, all day.
So, how all did I waste my time? ^^ Treated myself to a java chip frappucino, and gloried in actually getting some caffeine (and yes, I was manic and giddy even until late, I'd swear it's just now wearing off). Ohyes, and a slice of iced lemon loaf cake, because a happy-Di day always involves food. ^^; Went to Fontenelle Forest down in Bellevue, and it was glorious. Helped by the fact that that gorgeous cool weather returned just in time, so it was in the high 50s in the am, and only got up to the low 70s. Walked the trails a bit, marvelled with some people there at how fall-like it was--and I saw three deer o_o A adult female and her two near-grown juveniles. ( I again flail at my digital camera's batteries, which I'd forgotten to charge and so basically died very early in. D: )
Then hit the zoo, and though there were some people there, it wasn't too crowded--did my usual favorite exhibits, rued that my camera battery was bone dry (am going to pick up a spare, I *swear*). Discovered I liked kettle corn and frozen bananas dipped in chocolate ^^ Had a fit of nostalgia and rode the zoo train (a steam engine) some. Also hit the mall and Barnes&Noble, though they didn't have what I was looking for--but I did find a Foamy sticker at Hot Topic. ^__^
And gads, when I got home... An e-card from Ma (she already sent me stuff! ^^; ), an Amazon GC from my brother, a pkg from James' family...and ohman. I still...I'm just floored, absolutely amazed at you all out there. I"m just...<3*squee*, you know? ^^;; I mean, I just can't believe the amount of birthday wishes... And I truly want to thank every single one of you that thought of me today--I mean, wow, truly. You all so rock. ^_____^
Ha, this is so not turning out to be short at all. Wah-haha.. >D But I gotta *squish* some people again, because they deserve it. Andrew, I'm still too amused at those lollerskating and roflcopter gif links, and being pointed at that ES21 site (I don't care if it's in German, it's awesome >D) *happy flails* Will watch that animated short tomorrow:D :D :D Am still just sparkling at the drabble-ficlet Nix sent me--it's awesome enough to have someone do that as is, but it's extra-extra special, and I owe her something as special someday<3
And I gotta pimp these--Magmags, and Kat, thank you again for art stuffs *so sparkling happy* I seriously *still* get giddy when I think about them. So I must share, because they are so freaking awesome. And hawt. XD (can't help it, new obsession set in awhile back...so I haven't actually watched the show, I've just spoiled myself on it and drowned in fic ^^ )

I won't lie--I am *so* weak for gifts of creativity. Someone could offer me diamonds, or art/writing/crafts, and I'd take the thing that was created. There's just something that someone does for...for a certain specific person. It's just the most beautiful thing, I swear. I can't describe it right. But all this just...I've always had this secret little daydream of getting gifts like that--and to actually have it happen, just...*wow*. I seriously was just flying high on absolute joy all day.
Ok, one last little bit--actually conversed on AIM! *gasp-shocku* ^^ Like, multiple conversations at once! Wow >D And then had dinner out with Dad and my stepmother, Johnna, and James and Dave, too, natch. Got to go to that nice place down by the river, and we actually ate out on the patio. Wahhh, damned nice. And yes, food coma, so much rich, indulgent food. <3 Was just the sort of thing I'd wanted to do this evening. Then called Ma, and that was that. Is all good. Freaking kickass awesome cool day. Going back to work tomorrow will be kinda ugh ^^;, but I plan on relooking at certain links when I can and just remembering that whole fly-high feeling y'all gave me.
