What were you in a past life?

It's good to be king... but you were just a prince. Young, impatient, you could see your father's power and you wanted it all. You already had your own harem, you already had money and servants, but you wanted the crown. For future reference: trying to poison a father who survived six older brothers and a war? Bad plan. He loved you, but there's only so much that love can do. The poison was the last straw, and you regretted it, once you realized that you would spend your days in exile. You died alone, penniless, friendless, all because you wouldn't wait.

The lessons for this life are obvious ones, aren't they? Take your time. You have a good life coming to you, if you go about it the way that the universe expects you to. Be patient, and maybe even prepared to work a bit. Study hard, if that's what it takes. Wait years, if that's what it takes. Don't try to rush into things or you'll find yourself off the throne, miserable and destitute, if you're lucky. Unlucky? Then YOU get the poison.
