whitereflectionBad me...bad bad me...I keep sneaking in goof-off time. But now I'm technically off the clock, so I guess that works. ^^;
Oral/conversational exam went ok, I guess. Actually, I might have done pretty well, I just find it difficult to tell. I was so tense/rattled--the adrenaline still kicks in when I think about it. But I think I did what I was supposed to all right, though I keep trying to remember back, trying to think "Did I understand her questions right? Did I answer appropriately? Did I forget anything?" Etcetcetc. ^^;; Now on to the final. But I may take the night off and be lazy, in some way. Let a bit of the stress dissapate a bit.
On the way back from the exam, was waylaid by our dept. chair and Anj on the way to the University chancellor's holiday reception, and they dragged me along. And OMG...!! O__O The! Food!! This huuuuuuuuge spread of food, desserts, and bevarages, totally fancy-expensive-posh stuff...egads, I stuffed myself way beyond silly. I'm so used to UNO functions being really casual, but this was almost like an evening party--really pretty with all the lights and decorations and music. And fooooood... *___* Interesting to note was that while we were in line, Anj happened to mention that some of the Japanese students that help Take-sensei have mentioned I'm a good student...whoa. People I don't even know talk about me. #^^#;
Am in a bit of an *ufufufufu* mood for various reasons. Mind is chewing on a couple of plottings-and-schemings. Could be fun. Also am just freaking amused to death at Katkat's latest pic. *snip snip snip* XD
Tomorrow will be the Library holiday party. Egads, more food--not so fancy, but will still be cool.
Uwahh...having to navigate sheet ice, slush, snow, and hard packed snow on while going from one end of campus twice today has left legs in much pain. >_< Owow.
