That's no ordinary gas cloud
Jan. 26th, 2010 10:41 amSorry for being such a lousy flist person of late. I know I may have a reason lately (for once), but still feel like a lousy friend and generally un-fun person. Will be going with Mom up to the hospital for a bit later.
Other news, my brother and his gf have gotten a cat, a female purebred Egyptian Mau. Very pretty cat, though I've only seen one pic. They call her Queen Tiy, but it's driving me batcrazy that they pronounce it like Thai and not like Tea (had an class in college on ancient African civilizations, and the professor--also chair of the Black Studies Department back then--said it like Tea, and I verified it finally http://www.answers.com/topic/tiy). Because, you know, these things matter, and stuff.
Mom will be facing some fun...carpel tunnel surgery on one hand early February, surgery on the other wrist after that heals up.
In WoW, Dauntless finally got Professor Putricide (who's loosely based off Professor Farnsworth in Futurama, and oh I am so tiiiired of hearing "Good news, everyone!" now ^^; ) 25 down. Tying for 3rd on server to do so, part of only 2500 guilds in the world that have done it so far. So, go us. (Ah, I guess in total we're technically ranked 4th on server, 975th in the US and 2349 world.)
