Ahaha omgomgomg

So probably a couple months back I'd sent out an app to a company through the careerlink website. Didn't get even an interview, hadn't heard anything more about it in ages, shrugged it off.

Just got a message from them yesterday, and spoke with them this morning--they had a new part time position open up, so they were doing phone interviews and I spoke with the gal for over a half hour. They'll be calling for face-to-face interviews in the next couple of weeks. So maybe it'll turn out to be nothing. But maybe I'll get an actual real in-person interview \o/ Maybe is better than nothing! \o/

And heck, this is the first *anything* since leaving the stupid telephone-survey-of-businesses hell place in August. And the work sounds like something I could handle easily (filing/scanning/some fill in for a receptionist). Soooo yay for maybe \o/ Anyway. It's the little things, yes.

bleeding on a grocery store floor for awesome super fun

So, I didn't notice when I picked up that jar of seasoning sauce that the metal lid was flattened on one side from some sort of in-shipment smack. And I sure didn't notice the extremely pointy and sharp shard of glass poking out from under said lid--at first. :| Dripped all over before Mom and I could get a papertowel out of her purse (she's a mom, of course she carries such things). Was a bit embarrassing to have to bug the nearby produce guy about a couple of bandaids and floor clean-up (not to mention giving him the jar). Once we were home, Mom started joking that we should have started yelling "LAWSUIT LAWSUIT MY BROTHER'S A LAWYER" (he's a patent attourney :p); sadly, some people would have done this in all seriousness.

Happened to hear Bif Naked's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bif_Naked) cover of "We're Not Going to Take It" (which I managed to misidentify twice as being by Quiet Riot or Motley Crue *facepalms* before the DJ woman reminded that it was originally by Twisted Sister I FAIL AT MY 80S CHILDHOOD OKAY). Anyway, the song is the best thing in the history of the universe and I must have it. :E I think I am maybe sort of a bit infatuated with her now. :B♥
