Haha, so today Mom and I went to the grand opening of a local grocery chain's new store a couple blocks from the house, and they were doing give-aways at random. When I went through the check-out line they were all "Oh hey, you won" and gave me a little gift bag of American Greetings stuff, a balloon, a little pot of yellow roses (that we have had to stash in the spare bedroom that's a storeroom because uh CATS) and also gave me my groceries for free. \o/ Huzzah for $105 of foodstuffs for free! I will not turn my nose up at it.
Then while they were getting food this evening, cat 3/4 (Tink), decided she was PETRIFIED of the aforementioned balloon (mylar), and only would stare at it and not eat. Eventually Mom stashed the balloon in the basement bathroom shower stall, but Tink was still freaked out and ran and hid under the bed--where she finally ate when Mom pushed her dish of kibble next to her but still has refused to emerge since. \o/ Cats!
Also at the grocery store they made me get my picture taken with one of the employees at the check-out line I was in, and it will be posted on the entry wall with the other winners'. I AM NEVER GOING TO LOOK AT IT EVER. ^^;;;; I am really, really fuckin fugly right now. I hope those pics aren't up there long :| (not like I'll be at that store often, I still like my usual two better).
Lolz, Tink has emerged, and is creeping around all slow and nervous-like. The balloon is still hidden. Not like it made any noise or movement or anything, just was floating all balloonlike up near the ceiling (like it had been since mid-day, until Tink noticed it hours later). Cat 3 of 4 you are a dumbass \o/
