Okay, so I knew we were going to have to call the plumber already because of the wax seal going under the basement toilet, and to check a couple other things. Was prepared for that. But fffffffffffffff the AC's broken AGAIN, we just had the capacitor fixed like last month and ARGH. If it's the capacitor again, sure it'll be replaced for free, but I'd want to know WHY the old one only lasted 2 years and why this one only 1 month...and if it's an entirely different problem, well then FUCK. Shall see I guess. Definitely getting the money's worth out of that special service club this year...twice we've had to take advantage of the 'regular service price for outside normal service hours calls' thing.

Did give notice at work, using my paid time off instead of having it given to me as a check--so I only have to work a full day tomorrow, next Wed and Thurs, and like an hour next Friday morning to finish it out. That'll do. Will use the time off to get started on the resume prep ugh and the looking at careerlink and stuff.

Figures it's the AC motor this time. Between the choice of really expensive motor, or cheaper motor that of course doesn't fit the month old capacitor we had, went with the cheaper one plus yet another new capacitor : / (The AC is ancient and we'll replace the whole thing in a couple years tops anyway). Fuck, I hate homeownership. Just, /headwall, you know? /headwall. /sigh.
